Nestled in the village of Uplyme (map) on the Dorset/ Devon border, one and a half miles from the sea, Otterview is a charming, two bedroomed cottage perfectly situated for visiting the stunning World Heritage Jurassic Coast.

 

From the cottage door you can walk directly into the beautiful surrounding countryside or walk the 1½ miles to Lyme Regis with its famous cobb, beautiful sandy beach and harbour, newly created promenade and excellent selection of tempting shops, pubs and restaurants.

 

The bustling cathedral city of Exeter with its narrow medieval streets and newly opened shopping mall is only 35 minutes by car and the cottage is within  striking distance of several museums, National Trust properties and arts centres.

 

Otterview is also in easy walking distance from Uplyme’s family friendly village pub, shop/garage and playground. The bus route into Lyme Regis is at the end of the lane.

rail and air!

 

Airports the nearest is at Exeter approximately 30 miles away and Bournemouth is a little further.

 

Roads  M5 30 miles away and A35 2 miles away.

 

Rail The nearest train station is at Axminster, 5 miles away and is served  by South West Trains on the London Waterloo to Exeter line.

 

Sea  Ferries from France dock at Weymouth, Poole and Plymouth.
